Graduate of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences; habilitated doctor of agricultural sciences in the field of food technology and nutrition, specialization: organic food. Research and didactic employee at the Faculty of Human Nutrition, Warsaw University of Life Sciences; employee at the Department of Functional Food and Commodities at this Faculty. Her scientific research concentrates on various aspects of the quality of raw materials and products originating from organic production compared to their counterparts from conventional production. She develops and implements modern methods of food analysis, taking into account the latest techniques and the use of analytical equipment. She is also interested in the impact of organic food on human and animal health, the development of organic farming in Poland, Europe and the world, and the multifunctional development of rural areas. Professor Ewelina Hallmann participates in domestic and international scientific research projects as well as science popularization and educational projects. She is also involved in dissemination of knowledge about the quality of organic food and the raw composition of fruit and vegetables. Author of 163 scientific and popular-science publications, including 66 positions listed in the Web of Sciences database and 97 positions in the form of monographs and popular-science publications.

- organic food production and quality;
- contamination in organic and conventional food;
- content of biologically active compounds in fruits and vegetables;
- the impact of organic farming on the nutritional value of fruit and vegetables.
